The club now runs four open shows every year, the Spring and Summer shows, held at Penistone Recreation Ground having 5 rings and running Ridden, Inhand, Working Hunter and Show Jumping classes. Members can accumulate points at these two main shows; the member with the most points in each class receives an annual trophy at our Presentation Evening. A Show Jumping show held in June at Crow Edge Field is the second show and an Inhand and Dressage show held in July, again at the Penistone Recreation Ground.
Throughout the year the club organises several other events for its members, we try to cover things for the novice riders right through to the more advanced riders. In the past two years, we have had an Indoor Cross Country Training Clinic, Club Evenings in the winter and Club Mornings in the summer, One Day Event Training, a Show Jumping Clinics with top instructors Susie Gibson & Joe Whitaker, Fun Days for the children, a Four Day Tuition week (always a popular event). We also run unmounted events, including a Stable Management course, Treeless Saddle Demo, Tack Sale, Showing Demo/Talk by top judge John Lloyd and a Horse First Aid Talk.
